Abizer serves on the Board of SBM Bank (India) Limited and Chairs its Audit Committee and is part of several other board Sub Committes. SBM India a wholly owned subsidiary of SBM Holdings (Mauritius), backed by the Government of Mauritius. The bank, previously facing significant regulatory challenges, is now on a growth trajectory with a renewed management team and full institutional support from Mauritius.
